Importing and Exporting Colour Keys

Colour Keys can be imported and exported as CSV files to facilitate sharing between projects or users.

To export colour keys:

  1. Right-click in the Colour Key Library or Project Colour Key Library, depending on where you want to store the keys.
  2. Select the rows corresponding to the colour keys you want to export.

  3. Select the export option.

  4. Choose a location and save the CSV file.

To import colour keys:

  1. Right-click in the Colour Key Library or Project Colour Key Library, or go to the Add Data section in the Home Menu Options menu.

  2. Select the import option.

  3. In the file browser that opens, select the CSV file containing one or more colour keys.

  4. Confirm to load the selected colour keys.

Multiple colour keys can be imported or exported at once within a single CSV file.

Note: The content of the Colour Key Entry Table and the Colour Key Items Table may not always be consistent. For example, a class may display a yellow colour in the Colour Key Items Table while the defined spectrum in the Colour Key Entry Table is blue. In such cases, the exported file reflects the content of the Colour Key Items Table, including the Name, Start, End, Colour, Size, Annotation, and Comment columns.
