Supervisor 9.3 (October 2026)

Supervisor 9.3 introduces new capabilities for statistical analysis, expands data exchange with third-party applications, enhances visualisation customisation, and streamlines simulation workflows. The release also includes several usability improvements and an upgrade of the underlying software platform.

Statistical analysis

Supervisor 9.3 introduces a new K-Means Clustering component for Point Data, providing an interactive machine learning tool for exploratory data analysis. Cluster quality can be evaluated using the WSS criterion before applying the selected grouping directly to the project tree.

Model Validation has been enhanced with a more flexible workflow. Validation can now be performed directly on block models, making it easier to compare multiple estimation results without first generating composites. Weighting options have also been extended, allowing any numerical variable to be used in addition to declustering weights.

Visualisation improvements

Histograms, Trend Plots and Q-Q plots now offer additional display customisation, including configurable colours, line styles, symbols and statistical markers. Histograms can also be displayed as curves, making it easier to compare multiple distributions. These enhancements provide greater flexibility for analysis and reporting.

Data exchange and simulation workflows

Continuity models can now be imported from Datamine, Vulcan, Leapfrog, Surpac, Micromine, Deswik and Minescape files. Descendant variogram exports have also been improved to export continuity models when available, including Datamine DMX output with automatic rotation conversion. Colour Keys can be exchanged using CSV files for easier sharing between projects.

Simulation results are now stored internally using the Datamine DMX format, reducing disk space while preserving numerical precision. Simulations can also be exported directly to Datamine block models, including individual realisations when required, and Conditional Simulation exports now generate more complete block model outputs for downstream workflows.

Usability and platform

Supervisor 9.3 includes several workflow improvements, including ribbon Undo/Redo buttons, an expanded 3D View toolbar by default, and automatic notifications when a new version is available.

The application has also been upgraded to .NET 10, providing continued Microsoft support together with improved security and reliability.
